Eastern Credit Union is pleased to introduce Eastern Connect, our Online and Mobile Banking service.

The introduction of this new service is in keeping with Eastern Credit Union's commitment to provide superior service to our members. Eastern Connect will allow members 24-hour online access to their accounts.  Members will therefore be able to access their accounts on the go, anytime, anywhere safely and securely.

Security

Members Matter Most

At Eastern Credit Union we're committed to keeping your accounts and financial information safe and secure, from when you sign on to Eastern Connect Internet/ Mobile Banking Services to the time you sign out. To ensure this we have instituted a number of security measures to help ensure the integrity of your transactions and your account information, including:

  • Meeting high industry Internet security standards by enforcing the use of 128-bit encryption browsers.
  • Installing firewalls and monitoring our systems to prevent unauthorized access to our internal systems and maintain the safety of your information.
  • Developing and implementing security enhancements to further protect Eastern Connect Online/ Mobile information and sessions.

A Shared Responsibility

To ensure you are protected under the Internet Security Guarantee, you must do your part too. That means you must

Carefully select your Eastern Connect Internet / Mobile sign-on password. Never select a password or Access Code that is the same as or similar to an obvious number combination such as your date of birth, bank account numbers, ATM PIN number or telephone numbers.

Install and maintain up-to-date firewall and virus protection software on your PC or wireless device.

Do not respond to pop-ups, emails, or other Internet requests that ask you to reveal personal information about yourself or your Eastern Credit Union accounts. Eastern Credit Union will never send you unsolicited emails asking for your password or personal account information. We will never ask you to validate or restore your account access through unsolicited email.

  • Review your statements and report any errors in a timely manner.
  • Assist us in any investigation into improper access to your accounts.

By working together, you can help us protect your financial and personal account information.

Online Banking

  • A PC with a secure Internet connection,  a valid user ID and Password.
  • A valid e-mail address.
  • Eastern Connect is compatible with Internet Explorer Version 7 & above, Mozilla Firefox Version 12 & over, Safari and Google Chrome browsers and any Tablet.

Mobile Banking

  • You can also access Eastern Online from your smartphone, Android 2.3 & over, any version of IOS.
  • You will also require a valid e-mail address.

FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

  • Go to www.easterncutt.com
  • Complete the Eastern Connect Registration Form
  • Print, sign and take into your branch for processing
  • For in branch registration, complete and sign application form and submit to Customer Service Representative for processing.

Password must contain a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 characters. Password must contain at least 3 of the following:

  • Upper case letter (A, B...)
  • Lower case letter (a, b..)
  • Number (0, 1, 2)
  • Special character (*,&,#, @)
  • Password must not contain spaces
  • Password must not contain any part of Login Name (this has to be created upon sign on).

Contact Eastern Credit Union's Electronic Banking System Department immediately at ecu_connect@easterncutt.com to have your username or password reset.

Yes, by clicking on "Preferences" and selecting "Change login name" or "Change password".

At Eastern Credit, we are committed to providing you with a secure environment and have implemented hardware and software that is equipped with the most advanced security features available in the industry.

You are the only one who can access your account information online as you are required to enter your Username and Password to access the system. The Password will consist of alphanumeric characters. Eastern Credit Union staff will not have access to users' Passwords. Under NO circumstances should you reveal your Password(s) to anyone including Eastern Credit Union employees or any organization. If you believe your password has been compromised contact Eastern Credit Union's Electronic Banking Systems Department at ecu_connect@easterncutt.com immediately or visit your Branch to have your password reset.

  • Obtain balances on your accounts
  • Transfer funds between your own accounts
  • Make payments to loans and shares
  • Obtain statements on your account activities.

Eastern Connect allows you to view all your deposit (Savings, Jade, Evolution 50, Fixed Deposits), shares and loan accounts.

You can transfer to and from your Savings Accounts, Deposit/ Jade Account/ Evolution 50 Account to your Shares Account/ Loan Account or other Deposit Account (Savings Deposit/ Evolution 50/ Jade) however the minimum balance of $500 must be maintained. Only TRANSFERS to your LOAN and SHARE accounts are allowed.

Transactions will be reflected on account immediately upon completion.

There are no fees or service charges associated with this service.

Ensure that you install the latest security patches and updates to correct weaknesses in your system – it only takes one point of entry for hacking to occur.

Install the latest Ant-Virus software to safeguard against viruses, in addition to regular virus sweeps of your system.

Protect your system and its contents, by utilizing a personal firewall which minimizes outside attacks by unauthorized traffic.

Choose a password which no one else can think of, but is easy to remember. By using letters, numbers and symbols this reduces the likelihood that your password can be guessed.

Run anti-spyware programs regularly to prohibit the acquisition of personal information, for example, passwords, telephone numbers, credit card numbers and identification card numbers.
