Environmental awareness helps us to understand the consequences of some of our actions while offering solutions to protect, conserve and improve the environment for present and future generations. “Don’t Trash Our Future… Recycle it!” is an initiative developed to ensure a sustainable future for future generations. Its purpose is driven by Co-operative Principle #7 - Concern for Community. The initiative also demonstrates active support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):1. #12 - Responsible Consumption and Production2. #13 - Climate ActionThis ongoing project will help us reduce waste and its impact on our communities.As a corporate entity we choose to develop environmentally friendly behaviours and actions to promote the use of renewable energy and resources.
